Local Hero: An understated film of a big oil company
coming into buy a small Scottish fishing village. Burt Lancaster has a
wonderful role. Peter Riegert stars.

Medicine River: This film was made with an all Native
American cast. It is a delightful romantic comedy with a great
illustration of the principle of coyote teaching. The couple that is made
for each other is coyoted (tricked) into being with each other. this may
be a little hard to find. In the Seattle Area it is at Madison Video.
Graham Greene (Dances with Wolves) stars.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: What more needs to be said,
the
title says it all.

Earth Girls are Easy: This is a wonderful comedy with
some
of the best slapstick I have ever seen. Jeff Goldblum and Gena Davis made
this film while they were married. It also has the best of and the first
of Damon Williams and Jim Carrey.

The Lover: A highly sensual film of a young woman and
her lover. It takes place in colonial Viet Nam and is beautiful to look
at. Highly poetic.
