For the most part this page is the music that I play in my office. It is music that intentionally sacred. It provides a context for our work together. It is all choral work and quite wonderful. Music for William's BodyTherapyThe following are is The Tallis Scholars, a wondrous small choir specializing in music of the 16th Century. Sheppard : Media Vita Angels sing on this. Really. Sarum Chant Male choir, fancy chanting from Salisbury Cathedral that swept the world in the first half of the 13th Century. It was the next big advance from Gregorian Chants. Pastorale by Tingstad and Rumbel Although this is not obviously sacred music it is very moving and healing. The last piece on the disc is Reverence which is dedicated to the memory of Nancy Rumbel's father. It's very moving and great for grieving. Carmel By The Sea This is just the ocean. No sappy music. Sacred Music not Suitable for the OfficeThis is music that is too strong in volumn or in emotion that would push a session in a particular direction. That's not useful for the office but it is very useful for doing your own healing work. Missa Gaia/Earth Mass A modern mass for the Earth with muscial styles from the whole Earth. It is very moving and well worth the trip. Celtic Odyssey Great rousing music. A sampler of the terrific Celtic music available today. It draws from deep Celtic roots and brings in a modern flair.
