On summer mornings at sunrise, early here in Seattle, I love to come down to the beach in Madison Park. The sun rises over the Cascades and in the stillness of dawn, the world is magical. I have practiced Tai Chi here hundreds of times before work in the morning. (I work just across the street upstairs from Impromptu.) I love this lake with its mountains. I love these trees backlit by the rising sun and the deep shadows they form. I feel Presence and Spirit profoundly here.

Oh, and if you just look between the fourth and fifth tree from the left, over on the far side shore is where the richest and the most generous man in the world and his family reside.
