The title has a couple of meanings. First, this is my beloved Lake Washington across the street from my office. Often in the early mornings of summer, I will go down to the water's edge and practice Qi Gong (chi kung). Qi Gong is cultivation of Qi (chi). It is breath, and it is flow. As I practice, I become more and more one with all that is.

On this morning, the mist, the breath of the lake, is floating along the far shore and in the foothills covering the skirts of Mt. Rainier, visible fifty miles beyond the end of the lake. In this early morning light, all is serene.
